Erik is a native of Memphis, TN. He has experienced basketball at all levels of play. In high school he was a McDonald's All American candidate, received both city and state honors, and was consideredone of the best Point Guards in his class. In college he attended Valparaiso University where he played under both the legendary Homer Drew and his son Bryce Drew. Erik has now finished his 3rd playing season professionally.
Erik has had experience coaching the youth being featured in many basketball camps as a guest speaker and coach. He has a lot of experience he would like to share with the youth in order to help them grow as better basketball players and people as well. Erik mentors young players helping them to understand that basketball should be used a tool to further both their education and preparing for life after basketball.
Erik currently works as the head coach at Memphis Catholic High School and as the youth coach for M33M.
Darryl is a native of Detroit, Michigan. He has experienced basketball at all levels of play as both a player and trainer. Darryl has trained athletes at all levels from the highschool level elites to college and professional players and has great experience working with the youth. Darryl has worked in basketball camps throughout Michigan and Indiana including work with Purdue's own Robbie Hummel. He has previous experience with the Minnesota Vikings and other professional organizations. He is both an excellent coach but a very inspirational mentor to the youth. He exemplifies what we at Beyond Boundaries look for in our trainers. Darryl currently heads our Midwest division of Beyond Boundaries!
Tevin Hughes is a native of Memphis, TN. He comes out of the inner city Binghamton community. His experiences in a variety of sports and great academic achievements were accomplished at Memphis East High School. After graduating Top 10 (7) of his high school, he later received a degree from Middle Tennessee State University. He earned the credentials of receiving his Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Community Public Health with a minor in Health Education.
Experience in rigorous university courses and time spent in the school systems has helped him gained the social and cognitive awareness knowledge of the youth. He seeks to help further enhance those qualities for life on and off the court for the youth in this foundation. Tevin is currently serving as an interim educator for Shelby County Schools system at LaRose Elementary. He’s also a coach, academic counselor, and mentor for the Memphis Athletic Minister (MAM) at Bethel Labelle site. Guiding the youth towards the importance of academics beyond the lines of basketball are qualities he’s striving to achieve for the foundation of the youth.
Tevin currently works on as the assistant coach at Memphis Catholic High School.
Kevin is born native of Memphis, TN. He was raised in the Binghampton community. He graduated from East High School in 2004. He pursued his college career at Arkansas State University, unfortunately, he did not receive his degree but manage to work with the youth.
He has coached youth for over 3 years. He is accustomed to the youth in many aspects. Kevin concentrate on the players on and off the court giving courage and knowledge to the game of basketball as well as life. He is a terrific coach and a great mentor.
